Duke Immerse is a semester-long program in which undergraduates enroll in a cluster of four courses designed by Duke faculty around a central theme. Each Duke Immerse program includes one or more experiential components, which consist of local, regional, national, or international travel and engagement about the program's theme. For Faculty
Experiential undergraduate programs offer faculty an opportunity to develop their research interests into immersive, life-changing programming for students. We encourage you to consider partnering with the Global Education Office and Duke Immerse to design high-impact experiences.
Duke Immerse is a semester-long program in which undergraduates enroll in a set of four campus-based courses, travel and engage in field-based learning, built around a single theme or issue. Programs are offered in the fall and spring. Each Immerse offering is designed and led by a cohort of 2-4 faculty. Immerse is currently considering proposals for the academic year 2024-2025.
