Susan Kauffman
Susan Kauffman is the Director of Undergraduate Communications. She’s focused on helping better communicate the strengths of a Duke undergraduate education and improving how Duke communicates with students – so she’s eager for input! Susan leads a team of campus communicators from admissions, student affairs, student services, Trinity and Pratt. A native Californian with degrees from Stanford and UNC-Chapel Hill, she came to Duke in 1999 to work in the Office of Public Affairs and Government Relations, after prior careers as a News and Observer reporter and a steel mill foreman. Susan is always up for a game of Scrabble.
